ENNEAD is a Korean boy's love webcomic/manhwa by Mojito about ancient Egyptian gods, with a focus on the relationship between Seth and Horus. It is ongoing, currently in season 2, and Mojito has said there is going to be a season 3. The original Korean publisher is Seoul Comics. It is Mojito's first and only published work. Season 1 has been released as a Korean audio drama by ACO.ENNEAD updates in Korean on the 9th, 19th, and 29th of each month (except in February when it updates on the 28th), barring Korean holidays and hiatuses, at around 22:00 KST. Mojito has announced that ENNEAD in Korean will go on hiatus after the release of Season 2, Episode 108 until it returns on 20 December 2024 with Season 2, Episode 109. As all translations are behind the Korean, they will likely keep going until they hit Season 2, Episode 108, and then take a break to mimic the Korean, as has happened in the past. The manhwa updates in English, French, and German on the 10th, 20th, and 30th of each month (except in February when it updates on the 28th), barring Korean holidays and hiatuses. The original Korean is currently 6 episodes ahead of the English. The English episodes usually release around 00:00 ET.The only place to legally read ENNEAD in English online is on Tappytoon; there is currently no English ebook version. Seven Seas started publishing an English physical release in November 2023. Tappytoon is also the home of the French and German electronic releases. There are a number of places to read the manhwa in Korean, including Witchcomics/mcomics, Ridibooks, Naver, Bomtoon, and Kakao, and there are places online to read it officially in Chinese, Thai, and Japanese. The Chinese translation updates on the 5th, 15th, and 25th of each month. The Japanese translation began releasing physically in 24 April 2024.ENNEAD is available in mature/uncensored and 15+/16+/censored form most places it is sold. The uncensored version usually has a "19" or "M" on it. The censored version has removed or modified panels, though Mojito sometimes modifies/replaces the censored panels to better explore character thoughts. The post-season episode(s) for season 1 also change depending on your version: the censored version has a 1-episode story about Seth becoming small, and the mature version has a 2-episode story about darker King Horus featuring a modified version of an earlier draft of the manhwa.Episodes with differences:
Season 1: 28-32, 42-44, 74-75 (75 doesn't exist in the censored release)Season 2: 19, 45-47, 71, 107, 108
Carrd doesn't like some of the links, so if you want the mature/uncensored Korean episodes, go to your website/app of choice (e.g., Witchcomics/mcomics, Ridibooks, Naver, Kakao, Bomtoon) and search 엔네아드. The mature version should have a "19" or an "M" on it. On Witchcomics/mcomics, Ridibooks, Bomtoon, and Kakao, you will have to verify your age with adult identification to access the mature/uncensored version. This requires emailing Witchcomics/mcomics, and they have instructions for it on their customer care page. A link to a good guide for doing this on Ridibooks has been included below. It's suggested you use a translator extension on your browser to better navigate the sites. You can use international ID and payment methods to access both the uncensored and censored versions of episodes on all these sites. When getting access to Korean episodes on these sites, remember that there are "rent" (대여하기) and "keep" (소장하기) options. Rent is only temporary. Keep is permanent. Make sure you're picking the option you want.
Tappytoon is the only legal source to read ENNEAD online in English, and has an app (mobile and tablet) and browser site. (Seven Seas began an English physical publication in November 2023). The English release usually comes out at 00:00 ET the day of release, and the English, French, and German all release on the 10th, 20th, and 30th of the month (except for February, when they update on the 28th), when not on hiatus. The English release is currently behind the Korean release by 6 episodes, while the French and German are behind the Korean by 11 episodes. Both mature and censored versions of the English translation are available through the Tappytoon app, but the mature version was a recent addition there, so if you have any issues, they are both accessible and purchasable on the browser version of the site (either through your phone, tablet, or desktop browser). If you get points on the app, possibly by watching advertisements for points, your balance will carry over to your account on browser, as will any episodes you purchase through the app. A general guide for navigating Tappytoon, including how to read the comic legally for free, is included below.
The uncensored version is marked "mature". The censored version has removed or modified panels, though Mojito sometimes modifies/replaces the censored panels to better explore character thoughts. The post-season episode(s) for season 1 also change depending on your version: the censored version has a 1-episode story about Seth becoming small, and the mature version has a 2-episode story about darker King Horus.

ENNEAD is relatively unique for a boy's love series in that it is does not use "lightsabers" or blurring to censor scenes. The mature/uncensored version is entirely uncensored, without the use of lightsabers or blurring, in all places the mature is available/sold, including Tappytoon and the Korean hosting sites. Mojito uses creative posing, angles, clothing, and placement to hide things that might otherwise be subject to such censorship, without absolutely destroying or hiding scenes. The censored version also does not use lightsabers or blurring: rather, Mojito crops or removes panels entirely, or replaces them with new panels, or scenes. In some instances, effects are removed (mostly for violent scenes), leaving the panel otherwise largely unchanged. New scenes sometimes contain new character/plot insight not available in the mature/uncensored version, so it's worth reading.Episodes with differences:
Season 1: 29-32, 42-44, 74-75 (75 doesn't exist in the censored release)Season 2: 19, 45-47, 71, 107, 108
On 5 November 2023, ACO announced it would be releasing a Korean audio drama for season 1 (Episodes 1-73) of ENNEAD. Currently it is available to be purchased in entirety digitally, and the official pre-order for physical pre-orders is over (though some proxies still have some stock). Currently, two episodes are free to listen on ACO's site and app after you get an account and adult verification.
ENNEAD has had several waves of merchandise and collaborations at this point (e.g., Mofun, ACO, BNOW, Gratte, Goodbsee, Good Smile, Primaniacs), and most of the merch is either sold through the collaboration stores, proxies, or given out rarely by lottery with Seoul Comics. Mofun, Good Smile, Primaniacs, Harumio, Koonbooks, Amiami, and Nemo IT are all sites to buy ENNEAD merch from, just be sure to see how prices and shipping compare before you buy. As more merch comes out, particularly from Japan, more sites are picking it up to sell.Carrd doesn't like the link to the Harumio collection, so just search for ENNEAD in Harumio's search bar.
